About
Us
Pat
Pearce has been involved with dogs as a breeder for over 10
years, and she has been rescuing dogs for more than 30 years.
In
1996 Pat formalized her rescue efforts with a colleague to
establish a formal Corgi rescue operation, placing 40-60 dogs a
year. Pat has fostered the majority of those dogs, advising
literally hundreds of new owners to be successful in creating a
good relationship with their new dog.
A pivotal component of a successful rescue operation is
not only having the ability to rehabilitate the dogs that come
into rescue, but also to be able to educate prospective owners
what to expect in terms of their dogs’ care, training
and basic behaviors. Pat's extensive history with dogs of many
breeds, as well as her background, knowledge, and innate ability
to evaluate a dog's behaviors have proven an invaluable
contribution to the success of the Corgi rescue placements. The
rescue effort also generates many inquiries from current dog
owners; requests for behavioral advice from all over the country
have become routine. Pat has successfully counseled these owners
to correct the inappropriate behavior of their dogs.
After
so many years of hands-on experience, Pat has dealt with a vast
array of dog behaviors and successfully advised many owners, not
only in person but also by telephone and e-mail, to have more
positive relationships with their own dogs.
Now
you too can benefit from Pat's extensive experience to help you
create the relationship you've always wanted with your dog.
